I coach changemakers who are leading committed lives.
I do this work because it’s “Go-Time” on planet earth right now.
I have a son. What is his future going to look like?
I’m going to do everything in my power to create a world that is fit for our children and future generations.
I believe that leadership is the leverage point.
We all have the opportunity, privilege and responsibility to take our game to the next level.
This is the time. We need to step up.
I am committed to growing a community of changemakers
to do just that for the sake of building a viable future.
I believe that if we take a stronger stand for Life,
we will be able to turn the tide of our planetary crisis
and do what needs to be done for our children’s future.
I’m committed to buiding a network of changemakers.
Together, we are learning to take a stand for Life;
a stand that will make all the difference for our children
and future generations.

he became the founding director of Alliance for a Viable Future,
a non-profit initiative with the mission of
amplifying Northeast Climate Leadership.

Men’s Work
Lev has been doing men’s work for more than twenty years. His father took him to his first Jewish Men’s Retreat, when he was seventeen years old. Since then, he has served on the Menschwork Wisdom Council and undergone training through EVRYMAN, Mankind Project’s Boys to Men program, Wild Earth’s Track and Sign program, and the Sterling Men’s Institute. After years of participating in weekly men’s groups, and coaching small groups for men, he co-founded a local men’s group that now has twelve men. We meets weekly for two-and-a-half hours around a fire. It keeps him feeling supported, honest and accountable. They’ve got his back, so he can get yours.
Spirituality, Psychology & Energy Medicine
Lev is certified as an Integrative Sound and Music Practitioner through The New York Open Center's Sound & Music Institute, and utilizes sound healing instruments - didgeridoo, tuning forks, vocal toning, flute, singing bowls, and jaw harp - to create a fertile environment for his clients to access their deeper intelligence and creative imagination to effectively navigate life, relationships, career, and health in these poignant times of accelerated complexity. He has been training in yoga and the internal martial arts for fifteen years; has been working with plant medicine in a ceremonial context for over ten years, while staying rooted in his spiritual lineage of Jewish mysticism, Daoism, and Native American Ceremonial practice. He has also hired therapists and spiritual counselors to support his emotional and psychological health for fifteen years. He will be completing his fourth year as a sundancer in The Lakota Sundance Ceremony, which includes fasting with no food or water for four days to pray for Life. In preparation, he goes on vision quest.
He lives with his wife, Sarah, and son, Emet, in Great Barrington, MA.
Testimonials
"Developing this new dimension of my business is becoming a spiritual process as opposed to a mundane thing that needs to be done. This work is for anyone who is ready to have your life, and your business transformed in a huge way."
-Tarra Christoff PhD. Career & Business Coach
"It was as if, by focusing on the long term legacy, I was actually free, to tend to the activities that seemed small on the surface, but that actually were part of a network...by focusing on the legacy, you'll be creating a future memory that's fun, purposeful and challenging."
Dean Adams, Documentary Film Journalist
"The space that Lev created with his presence, intuition, and flexible responsiveness allowed me to turn my attention inward and carve out a larger, freer space to navigate...I recommend Lev to anyone who is available to change, and ready to inhabit presence more fully."
Jason Stern, Publisher
Founder of Luminary Publishing / Publisher @ Chronogram Magazine
“You integrate earth and nature based wisdom with very practical real-world skills. I needed the spirituality to support the practical work so that it didn’t feel boring or like homework. It deeply resonated with me. I couldn’t have taken a “business” course otherwise. It would never have occurred to me”
- Meg Heisiger., PhD.
Founding Director of The Ecology Center
